It was a painful healing process but I much prefer having the scar than the tattoo. I can lie and say its a burn scar than try and cover my tattoos. Very pleased with my decision. I had the procedure done in Northridge, Ca for free through a tattoo removal program. All were preformed by very well trained Medical students pursuing their Medical License. I had my procedure done in 1994 and have gone on to have a great career that I know would not have been possible with visible hand tattoos. I have also had laser done on other tattoos and this was the better choice for me. I had 3 tattoos removed from my hands this way. I want a natural way to remove my tattoo from my foot. My story, is heartbreaking. Not only for me but for the man I hurt. My boyfriend did everything for me and I was stupid and left him because I was scared to be tied down. I broke his heart. In the span of time that we were apart, things happened that I prefer not to post. If you truly need to know what happened in order for me to be removed of my past, I will. As a result, my three horseshoes on my foot remind him every day of what I did to him. I have to hide my feet, wear socks whenever I'm around him, and I can't ever wear revealing shoes. I can't stop thinking about our wedding night. What if he looks down and is reminded of that time? I don't want my past to ruin our future. I can't relax in front of him, I can't be myself because I'm always worried about whether he willget upset and how I can prevent it. I love him with everything I possibly can and have.
