A former Fresno gang member is now facing a life sentence because of making his son, who is only 7 years old, get tattooed with a gang symbol he himself made which says, “An irresponsible decision.” When he testified in Fresno County Court last Tuesday, the 27-year old gang member, Enrique Gonzales, told the court that he never really persuade his son to be in a gang, however, his affiliation was what made the boy went for it. Gonzales admitted that he made an irresponsible decision for getting son tattooed.
Gonzales argued to the prosecutors when they said that he held his son down while the boy was having his small dog paw tattoo, which is the symbol of the Bulldogs street gang.
Gonzales and his fellow gang member, Travis Gorman, 22-year-old have both pleaded not guilty to aggravated mayhem and willful cruelty charges for that incident in April 2009.
Both of the men said that they already quit the gang ever since their arrest.
